Andre Russell to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Taylor is cashing in this over, full and wide delivery outside off, Taylor reaches out for it and pummells it uppishly to the deep extra cover fence, he really belted that
Sammy to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Taylor capitalizes on it, good length ball and in the slot outside off, Taylor moves to the off side and mows the slog to deep mid wicket, Marlon Samuels who is positioned on the edge of the boundary does not make an effort to stop it, he lazily moves to his left and allows it to go over the ropes
Best to Ross Taylor, byes, FOUR, poor fielding from Thomas and Russell surprisingly, shortish delivery and wide outside off, Taylor does not move his feet as he slashes at it, he misses it but the ball keeps low and bounces in front the keeper, Thomas lets it go in between his legs and Russell at third man runs to his left and tries to stop it, but he ends up kicking it onto the ropes
Best to Latham, FOUR, very full outside off, Latham brings his bat down just in time to squeeze it nicely wide of third man for a boundary, very well executed
Sammy to Ross Taylor, FOUR, slightly short from Sammy and Ross Taylor is quick to pull it hard. Dwayne Bravo was standing well inside the ropes at deep square leg and this just about clears him and goes past the ropes after the first bounce
Sammy to Ross Taylor, FOUR, full and wide outside off, Ross Taylor comes on the frontfoot and drives it sweetly between cover and extra cover for a boundary. Ross Taylor looks very comfortable already.
Andre Russell to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Another fine shot and Ross Taylor does not look like a batsman returning from a break. This was pitched up and Ross Taylor was right there on his frontfoot to punch it past mid off and to the boundary
Andre Russell to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Ross Taylor gets going with a vicious cut. It was short and there was width on offer. Ross Taylor did well to get on top of it and place it in the gap past backward point. That should give him a lot of confidence.
Sammy to Nicol, FOUR, Sammy finds a genuine edge but had not kept a single slip in place. A chance goes begging and Nicol steals another boundary
Best to Brendon McCullum, FOUR, just outside off and Brendon McCullum tries to force it through the offside but gets a thick inside edge that flies past the leg stump to the boundary. Best thinks he should have had him there.
